Not to deter you but that is gonna take heeeeeaps of work. That said, if you stick with it, should come up nice and you'll have a gorgeous car... but that is quite a long way away. Good luck though!

i have received the VK and there is A LOT of work to be done i will post some pics soon but one big problem, the bonnet wont open since i fully closed it

Edit: i got it open finally, i had to pull the cable from the out side, lucky the grill wasn't bolted in

so you got a fked torque converter, a fked cam, a piston? is that a billet dizzy with the red cap?

the interior is in good condition other than the garfitti and the.. piston? lola

and i think ur gonna have a MASSIVE rego problem.
that being that their is HOUSE speakers in the parcel shelf.. .wow that looks like a big hole cut in the parcel shelf


and wtf is the yellow thing? lola

my advice:
work from the inside out
get a new parcel shelf and some speakers
wire a head unit in and also a sub/amp
from their clean the texta off the drivers seat and take off the piston thing
then the interior should be fine... maybe?
then get some carpet for the boot and remove the yellow thing.

take out the engine and either put a 202,v6,refresh the v8?

after that remove EVERYTHING. wipers..bumpers... headlights tail lights.. grill.. mirrors
and start sanding the car back fix all the rust. get the car in primer and get it painted (if u can) ((take it to a panel beaters if u have to))

then put the new engine in. wire it all and then get some vk bumpers, paint them silver, or the colour of the car

put some VK mirrors on. and sand and paint the wiper arms black

then the vk should be okay,

BUT if i was you mate id strip it and sell it for parts.

i think its too much work...

i got this VK to restore it, it gives me something to do,. That thing in the boot is the fuel tank, it will be removed in the future. I only got it a week ago so there hasn't been anything done to it yet. it may look like a piece of crap but this is solid car

you cant expect it to be perfect for only $600
