UPDATE:

Car is all finished & tuned, made 198.8 rwkw.:D Looks as though the v6 supercharged CAI is beyond its limits, made 191.9 with the CAI connected up and then made 198.8 with the air box open. So a big cold air intake is in order! The car is so good to drive, really responsive and absolutely no issues at all with driveability and has got plenty of power and low down torque. Thanks to Yella Terra for the awesome products and a special thanks to Mark & the boys at YT for the help along the way. Thankyou to Scott at Chip Control in Sunbury for the tune, porting the S/C and manifold and for making the LS1 throttle body adapter plate, much appreciated:bow: . Attatched is a couple of photos and the 2 dyno sheets.

AWESOME WORK!!!!

I bet she'll go like the clappers now!!!

Did you remove the airbox and everything infront of the MAF? Or was it just the CAI you removed?

If you didn't, give that a go...

There looks like a nice restriction at the oulet of the airbox. Have you considered putting a VT airbox in? It'd point in the same direction and have a much larger outlet. I think it's almost 4" (between 3 3/4" and 4"). Also open up the front of the airbox for even better flow into the airbox. I presume you are keeping the airbox for legalities...

Keep up the good work! Sounds like you are in great hands!

Nice work Tim, any chance of a closer pic of your TB adapter please.

Also a big Pod filter inside a open top home made Airbox would have that blower whine sounding awesome :D

Cheers

Lookin good man.. Just noticed you have a VS airbox.. It's tiny..

With a beast like that, thought of upgrading to a VT air box, a pod or some aftermarket airbox? It needs its air..
