I actually prefer the front slightly lower than the rear, for looks and for the fact that it is a sedan, which will carry 4-5 ppl at some stage with luggage too, and I have a tow bar. I might just get SSL all round if the front has to have SSL to prevent rubbing.

The gap from tyre to guard doesn't matter it's the offsets that'll cause rubbing. Unless you buy agressive offset wheels or want to run 295s you shouldn't have any issues. 20x10 wheels with 45P offsets and 245/35R20 tyres don't rub. You could probly get away with 275/30R20 tyres on the same spec wheel with no issues in the rear

Yep, true. I was gonna get a staggered set of 20X8.5 +45 and 20X10 +42 after lowering with SSL. You recon that's ok?

Should be fine with 275/30R20 tyres. Lower the ute, get the wheels and then see if it rubs when you bottom out but I reckon you'll be fine. My rears are 20x9.5 30P and needed a roll

If anything I'll get slightly narrower tyres like 265 or 255, tapered in on the side walls, less flex during cornering too.

You'll be looking at around 360mm front eyebrow height (or centre of hub to guard) and 345mm rear. Well that's how mine sits on King SSSLs with factory berlina shocks (don't use the factory shocks, mine bounces heaps) you should have 100mm ground clearence too mines 114mm under the front bumper

SSV Wagon
Hey mate, I've just put sssl on my front and sslhd on the rear (same as sssl) on my wagon.
It's also with Monroe gt short shocks

Dunno if you want the wagon picture or not, but might still help with height.

It still has a bit to settle as its only 3 days old
