Need help with vs ute

Hi can anyone help
My vs Ute decided it didn’t want to start
I have checked cas fuel pump
Not getting any injector pulse
Can’t get diagnostic tools to talk to vehicle

Have a search around here about the paperclip to scope out the codes.
Cant remember what pins it was, but you use a paperclip between 2 of the pins in the aldl connector and the dash will flash a light on the dash for the codes.

So when you say it wont start, do you mean you turn the key and it does nothing or something else?
Mines done that a few times over the years, just doesnt want to start. Turn it off, lock/unlock and try again and its all good.
Or since the new DFI sometimes it isnt happy to start.

Have you done a hard reset? (ie battery off the neg for 10 mins?)

It will start when I spray fuel in the manifold
I have put a new cas in the fuel pump is working

No had not tried the reset will try tomorrow
Very frustrating everything was fine went to work then in the afternoon just turned over but didn’t look like firing that was 4 weeks ago

If memory serves me right and I hope others can chime in on this one.
Could it be the DFI Module?
I only say that as from the readings and my own issues, it does alot of control of the start up on the car.

Since changing mine over (cos the old one died and i lost 2x cylinders) Its a similar scenario ive been having with it not always wanting to start.
Hopefully some others may be able to jump in and correct that info.
Otherwise it sounds like something related to immobilising the car?

Is the silver knob on the key making good contact with the silver ring (slip ring) on the ignition barrel ?

Try GENTLY prising the ring out a LITTLE bit.

with keys in ignition and turned to reds
