I'll give them a call tomorrow (I live in the western suburbs)... I believe the Impco stuff is what GMH use for their factory system?

Is that a standard vapouriser setup, or the newer sequential injection?

I'm also looking at a standard vapouriser kit ("Gas Research" system), which is about $2,600.

vyaw2003,

try Richard at RLS, hes doing my Gen3 next week for $3800 (vapour injection) cant wait. Its the Sprint Gas Injection system. They are at Albion, but Richard does them at Virginia. Not bad for an $1800 out of pocket expense.

Anyone know about the Parnell system?

The fitter I had been looking at (for Gas Research) can no longer get the Gas Research parts - not enough supply. So they're switching to Parnell.

A quote from another member (Minux ) about Parnell

How do i know this? We had to spend $900 fixing a conversion they did on a work BA Falcon.

Damn... I figured since it was sequential injection, it'd be a decent system - I definitely want something reliable.

My dad's actually looking around in Adelaide for me, as apparently the average quote is around $2,200 for a conversion there (with a $200 deposit).

Best I can get in Melbourne is $2,600 with a $500 deposit.

It'd be cheaper to drive to Adelaide to get it done (and visit the parents while I'm there!)

Troy, I wouldn't be letting them touch my car.

I know quite a few unhappy customers....

Good luck with your conversion.
