New car help!!

So im after my first car as i am soon to be on P plates, i have very strict parents so it has taken a hell of a lot of work for them to even consider me getting a V6..
So the cars im looking at the 2010 sidi omega, reasons are being a 3L its very good on fuel what will make life more enjoyable for me and i think it looks really nice, now if i was to get one i would lower, nice set of ssv rims black out the grill, debadge ect heres a pic of one im looking at

what are peoples general thoughts on these?
any help would be great thank you!

Get a 3.6 if you can. Imo the 3.0 feels way worse than my old ecotec.
