The best car I have is my $5,000 Toyota Soarer. Far better car to drive, comfort, better fuel economy than any of my other cars.

Mitsubishi Magna TH/TJ/TL/TW 3.5L V6, can get them manual or auto, dual fuel, etc. I have a 2001 TJ Magna with the 3.5 V6 and it is seriously on of the best cars I have driven, comfortable, great on fuel (gets 700kms to a full tank), plenty of power (155kw), and I can't recommend it enough. And you would be able to get one in immaculate condition for $5000.
