Seen a lot about iPad integration and fascia swapping.

Thought you might be interested in this. :)

NEW VE FASCIA COMMING SOON
New VE Fascia Comming Soon Early to Mid December 2012

You can replace the factory fitted VE Commodore radio with this great new kit.

The kit allows for the installation of most aftermarket 2-DIN radio with an integrated screen, the kit also includes the interface for your factory fitted steering wheel controls and climate controls.

So what are you waiting for? Get rid of that tired old radio and take your VE Commodore radio to new heights in sound, vision and performance!

Not endorsing this company, just stumbled across it.

This looks cool, BTW that is the Folcik HVAC unit with a new skin and finally a nice faceplate.
But I still prefer my install.

Love the look of these, seriously considering getting one for my VE because the stock head unit is one of the only downsides to the car.
I'm wondering in regards to the bluetooth phone integration if it requires an external mic to be hooked up to the head unit or it can be hooked up to the stock mic already in the VE ? I've always thought those external little clip on mics that come with aftermarket units look ugly.

You could always hide a new mic in the factory location.

This is such a better solution than the IQ units for series 1 owners.
