o2 gauge install help

Hey im tryin 2 hook up a AIR/FUEL mixture gauge 2 my vy...
I just wondering when running it from the sensors...
Do i have 2 hook it up2 both or just the 1 sensor??? and witch wire off the sensor/sensors???

just run it off 1 of the sensors, u dont want to bridge the 2 sensors together giving the ECU false readings.

Unfortunately i have no idea on what colours the VY runs from the o2 sensors.
Maybe a quick search in the VY-VZ section, if you cant find it, post a question in there asking what colour is the sender wire. :thumbsup:

Cammed mafless VS Calais 5-speed.
If the gauge is only reading mixtures from one O2 sensor, does that mean the other sensor (in later model commodores) could have died for all we know but the gauge is still reading correct mixtures?

Would it be feasible to run 2 gauges to monitor both banks?

you could run 2 gauges to ensure both are working fine but isnt nessecary. Once connected to 1 o2 sensor, at least then you can see if the mixtures are right and can tell if its running too lean or too rich. If the other o2 sensor fails (not connected to the gauge), it will/should log a code: variation between left and right banks.
