Hey, i have a 2006 VE Omega and im not sure how many oxygen sensors there are, it would be great if someone could let me know how many there are and where they are located? :)

should be 2 down on the exhaust (1 ea side) near where the join is for the exhaust manifold and engine pipe flange is near the cats , maybe 2 more closer to the engine

theres 1 each side at the bottom of the exhaust manifolds/headers then 1 each side in your exhaust after where it connects to the cats, the front one's check/control your air fuel ratio and the second ones make sure your cats are working :)

Which ones could possibly affect the fuel efficiency ?

Not 6 but 4.....As WhiteSV6Ute said,two on each side.
