Havnt changed oil yet, as i dont want to go through the hassle if its not the problem….

As i mentioned earlier The knocking/ noise comes after the car completely warm and then disappears after 10-15min? Any ideas??

Current pressure reading on 5w30 Full Synthetic oil is between 2.5-3 on idle.

To me, that rattle that comes and goes, and the idle oil pressure seems a bit low to me ................ all point to something that needs fixing before it gets to the "Farrrk" stage.
Also, the oil that drips onto your cement could be a worry at annual road worthy time.
A nit picking mech could knock it back, or say that it won't pass next year, as has happened to me with a couple of my older cars which I gave away to offspring to be used as their trade-ins.

Poor oiling. That’s not a great noise and unless the motor is opened up, guess work and parts swapping is going to occur.

I’d start a new thread on that. However remember that until someone has a look in there, you are loading the parts cannon.

Could be oil pressure loss internally in a number of places.

Oil pressure showed 217kpa - was that hot or cold, idling or at revs?

I have a similar issue on my V6 and am about to make an adapter to fit a test gauge to get actually readings before l pull anything apart.
