this is how you make a 2door commodore coupe. now to rip out some excess wireing and slide the v6 in there.no hes not kidding on this one guys :D

Yeah I was joking with the other crap, But I am serious about the celica. Its a Celica gt-four, meaning 4wd + turbo. The engine, gbox and transfer case are gone already, leaving an LSD and IRS rear end behind. Its got a huge engine bay, but the front 10 inches or so of the trans tunnel will need opening out a bit, and I will probably have to weld up some kind of cradle to support the commodore k-frame. Should be mean

Don't forget to get the grinder out to your springs to make your car touch the ground... Also do the bonnet mod everyone has been talking about, where you get a Pitch fork and put heaps of holes into your bonnet... This should give you an extra 40kw+

Celica engine, trans and transfer case is heavier than the commodores, and when fitted the celica engine is right over/in front of the front wheels. Will need to cut and weld the firewall and trans tunnel to fit the RWD trans anyway, so aiming to have the rear of the engine less than 6 inches in front of the firewall. Guys that have done a 1UZ conversion in these reckon they have a weight split of 56/44 - a stock celica is 60/40

Also looking at aftermarket alloy heads for the buick, which will lighten the engine up by ~16kg
