Any tips for hooking up the springs that are under the throttle plate? V6 VP for what it's worth.
How many rotations? I presume one is associated with the throttle itself and the other may be for the transmission kickdown.
Thanks guys

I'm not much help,i had to do mine when i had to remove throttle plate to lift Engine to replace Engine Mounts many years ago.I ended up taking it to a local mechanic and he tied string to the end of the spring when he wound it up,his only comment was 'tricks of the trade'but he fixed it.

Ok. Thanks Harry. I'll keep the question out there and hope for an expert.

Thanks again Harry. The string trick helped and it wasn't actually too hard. Like you I was replacing engine mounts. What a difference they make to the smooth running of the car! Feels like a limo again.
