mantha, where'd you pick it up? I was at auctions today & they were going to referral for $24k/~17kms, mainly 04 models.

I noted that 05 models had LSD listed, but not 04 models. Is this part of the Feb update?

Do they do good skids officer? hehe, just kidding!

Anyone know what the fuel usage actually is in the 190kw as opposed to the VY V6... (152kw)? I know the fuel senders are buggered, last time mine went to holden something was changed in the calibration (stuffs me what, hasn't made a difference, I'm still being told I'm using 14.2L/100klms... Seriously driving easy too... I'm HOPING that figure is incorrect...

I am looking at buying a new car in the next couple of months, while I would like an SS I cant stretch the budget that far..
So we have decided to look at SV6's I was wondering if anyone that owns one could give me their overall opinion of the SV6 I would greatly appreciate it..

Cheers,

Wayne
you ask for an opinion here goes the engine is strong capable of generating 1850+bhp with no failure, gearbox seams strong allthou not fully tested, the unit responds well to forced indution,(still pushing the limits)but looks promising.

I'm not interested in whether it lights them up or not, I just want a car that looks good, has a bit of grunt and some nice comfort..
I dont think there will be many times I turn off the traction control once i get my SV6..
God now I'm showing my age..
But really if your a cop shouldnt you be telling people not to do burnouts not condoning them...
Years ago when I was drag racing a lot on the track we more concerned with trying to limit the wheel spin then see how good we could light them up..
