That’s because all powered systems are providing the data feedback during the check. Nothing running and ECM says yeah that’s all cool from what I see when nothing is on. Everything checks out.
You start the car and suddenly sensors are plowing the ECM with live data. A bunch of the data is outside set parameters and a code is logged.
With the system at rest there is no data issue. All reads as it should at rest.
I’d suggest there are other circumstances causing the problem.
