Hi all, VZ commodore 06 alloytec (with fly by wire throttle).
, im having code p2119 Throttle Closed Position/Range Performance recur, it doesnt seem to impact performance but If i clear the CEL code, it keeps coming back after a day or 3. i have cleaned the inside throttle body, but makes no difference,
has anyone resolved this, and was the problem with the accelerator pedal unit, or the throttle body actuator? which is the more likely the issue?
my accelerator pedal mechanism sometimes seems to make a clicking/grinding sound at the bottom of its range if you jab at the pedal (engine off) , but i feel like its always done that, and if you gently pump the pedal fully through its travel, the sound seems to go away for a time.. so im not sure thats the issue.. just hoping there might be some forum members with some experience in this area beyond just cleaning the throttle body... any advice appreciated
