you wont need different primer perse. With the plastic, if you rub it back to bare plastic you will want to use a plastic adhesion promoter. With fibreglass its a good idea to use an epoxy etch primer prior to filler primer (as it is with bare metal as well, if you have large patches of bare metal I highly recomend using an epoxy etch primer such as DP40 which is availible from any PPG distributor. Its mixed at a 1:1 ratio and very easy to use as well as versitile.)

If you can invest in a sundstrom mask, with a carbon and gass filter. Should cost around $100-$110, and will filter the isocianate.

couldnt agree more, those masks are awesome. BOC have them for 80 bucks, i just got a new kit yesterday, yet to assemble it yet but wont be spraying for a few weeks and the mask bit is vacuum sealed. but yeah BEST MONEY YOU COULD EVER SPEND. seriously. i copped a lung full of thinners when i was spraying thinner through the gun after cleaning (stupidly took the mask off) and i didnt feel right for a couple of weeks.

lol what?

Thinners won't really cause to much trouble. No way it would worry you for more then a couple seconds let alone a few weeks...

lol, you're a tool.

You'd have to drink the **** for it to cause that much trouble. I get a gut full of it every second day. Its no worse then breathing in petrol fumes from your car.

Holy crap, if you think thinners doesn't do damage you really are a f*^kwit. Besides the things i mentioned just think of the amount of brain cells it kills.................................oh hang on...............maybe that explains your ill informed and non-researched post.
