Ok, i've painted a load of **** in my time but this is just shitting me.
I'm trying to repaint the door mirrors on the VH in black, but every time I apply some paint, it just dries off in minutes and returns to it's tired looking state.

I've gone through all the usual prep, washing, wax and grease remover, light sand, plastic primer and plastic paint.

What's going on here?

I've tried using various plastic paints but it just isn't working!

Help me!

I've used bumper bar black paint, VHT plastic trim paint, acrylic high heat..etc

So, you think 2pac should work?

when i did my VK mirrors i just buzzed off thesurface with 120 in the wizzy>plasti-prime>hi-fill>hand sand with 400>2k black.

came up like glass. you need to stick a little wedge in between the two bits of the mirror that seperate so that when you paint, it doesnt stick the two bits together.
