Does the VN have any painted surfaces on the dash, if so probably yes.

VT Series II Wagon
Hey guys, just a quick question. I just bought a vt series II and want to paint the centre console bit that goes around the speedo and shifter. Around the shifter the paints chipped off, will I need to sand this all so it's smooth? And also does anyone have any colour suggestions? :)

As for colour, either very shiny black, or your cars exterior paint code, depending on what colour your car is. For example, lime matte green would look crap.
