I did the calculations Richie & found that the 3.08 would only be 7% out while the 3.46 was 21%.

All in all 3.08 is more practical as i found out it offers much better take off response than the 2.87 without compromising fuel & top end speed to much.

Ill be selling the 2.87 to Andrew, as the diff in his Calais has developed a clunk & my diff has only just ticked over 70k while Andrews has done close to 140k

Andrew's aint the best either, when we where coming back from Melbourne, we got off the M7 & came to the first roundabout there was a horrible whining when we slowed down.

Hey boys n girls,

Well after spending about 6 hours finally have installed the 3.08 diff. Much better take off in first & better pickup in 2nd & 3rd.
Its off to Gregs on Monday night to get the speedo recalibrated & a few other things fixed up.

Pics are up too.

Thanx Boys,

Haha, not that i noticed. prob just a slight trickle but i never saw any oil on the garage floor. I just gave the new one abit of a scrub. Feels much better than old one. Prob why Holden fitted 2.87 diffs the SV6 & Calais was getting good fuel eco with the 190 motor.
