My VE SS-V S2 Sportswagon
Just some quick side snaps of my VE wagon, had her lowered and upgraded to 20" HSV rims before she left the yard.
Looking at doing exhaust but I like the stealth element these cars have when cruising, this is lost with the upgraded/bigger exhaust system I am told.
Stereo has been upgraded with SS-V standard head unit outputting to line out converter. This is then feeding
the signal through to my Alpine 4 Channel Amp running at 4 x 80w RMS. This is powering my JL Audio Splits in the front (my Alpine Type R splits from my last car were too deep to fit when I dropped car off for install and own speakers I supplied assessed. Went straight inside and purchased JL's top splits that JB carry, somehow they didn't apparently fit and I ended up with a refund of difference and the JL splits a model down) and Alpine Type R 3 Ways in the rear doors for rear fill. Upgrade to Focal Upotia B 3 Way Splits is definitely something will be looking at in the future.
Bass is supplied by one Shallow Mount Alpine Type R 12" in a custom box integrated to the cars aesthetics by Rodney and the boys at SSV in Bundoora/Thomastown. Check out his Street Sound Vision web page under installation solutions and then wagon system upgrade to get the idea of what I mean, get photos up later. This sub is massively overpowered and in need of another I feel by a JL Audio 750/1 which was originally intended to run a JL W7. The Alpine Slimline Sub is the best option available considering I still want full availability of the boot/cargo area which this install allows me. A false wall for the amps is due to come with he materials purchased and now gathering dust at a mates, with sound deadening a high priority with Stinger Roadkill Deadener purchased yesterday for hopeful install this weekend.
Cheers
