Nice upgrades ^^^ Is that all DIY or what?

Yup. All (mostly) documented here and here.

I really need to get some better pictures but I currently have a giant dent in my right rear door thanks to a stupid person in my street who reverses without looking.

(Also a little short on time. Getting married in 7 days. Then going on our honeymoon.)

I don't think being married will be that bad. I am looking forward to the honeymoon though.

All this preparation for the wedding (i.e spending 4 hours today getting just the cut and color on my hair done - no styling until the big day) is seriously getting in the way of more important stuff like working on my car.

Anyways, got a decent quality interior shot... Got to sit in an Omega today and the reality hit about just how much work was actually involved to go from that to this.

(clicky for bigness)

Tried it, and didn't like it.

Text on the head unit is red and white, and when I redid the cluster, I went with white displays, white illumination and red needles (swapped the white Berlina LEDs and needles to the red Omega ones). If I'd gone with white needles (i.e the actual Calais look) I'd definitely have blue text on the head unit, but the red and white theme fits the car.

I've got this too, which will make my cluster look even more Calais-ish:

The paint crazed a bit when I put the second coat on. I need to sand it and recoat before I install it, but no time at the moment.

I should really start my own thread...

I was going to say the same thing about changing the h/u display to blue. Your cluster display looks blue in the pic!
But I suppose if it's white/red as you say, then yeah, the red h/u would suit.

...And yeah, you should start your own thread. Let us know when you do!

And inside, complete Calais V trim, head unit, and fully functional (as in works like it came from the factory that way) dual-zone climate control:

How much did that set you back?
