Ahhh... So you meant "2 x 12" 400rms kicker subs with a 950rms kicker amp" :)

yeh something like that... im used to saying 800rms from when they were in the twin sub box and were 2ohm... now 4ohm and 400rms each...
Still... i needed the parcels to bring the sound stage back becoz the head unit isnt completely powerful enough to support the doors... so i might even get a small 250rms kicker amp to power the doors aswell... make it even more effing loud though! lol

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CURRENTLY:

ABOUT TO CHANGE TO:
Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P9450MP
Front Speakers: Boston Acoustics Z6 splits ( 3 ohm )
Rear Speakers: Boston Pro60SE splits run as coaxials in parcel shelf ( 3 ohm )
Subs: 2 x Image Dynamics IDMax 12" in corner mounted fibreglass boxes
Front Speaker Amp: Soundstream TR1600/2 ( 400Wrms x 2 @ 4 ohm / about 600Wrms @ 3 ohm to speakers )
Rear Speaker Amp: Audison LRx2.500 ( 200Wrms x 2 @ 4 ohm / about 260Wrms @ 3 ohm to speakers )
Sub Amp: Audison VRx1.500 ( 1080Wrms x 1 @ 2 ohm )
Sound Deadener: G-Spot Serenity MAX, RAAMmat 60 BXT (from US)
Electrical: Optima D34 Blue Top battery, Stinger 0g and all Stinger accessories, might need to have my alternator rewound for higher output current

I'd like a 3rd sub too but I think it'd be too much effort.

I reckon it'd sound alright ;)

New system just about up and running in the vz:

Eclipse CD5000 head unit
Boston Pro60 splits
Eclipse EA4100 4 channel amp powering the splits
Boston G5 sub
Eclipse XA1000 mono amp powering the sub

Kept it simple and very happy with the sound :)

Half finished amp board:

Still waiting on the sub enclosure to arrive
