If you hit the grill with paint stripper there is chrome underneath. The chrome looks excellent. Mine is also a series 1, the same as yours. I think they look nicer than the series 2.

Thanks mate, yeah i am lowering it a little but love not having it scrape everywhere after my last car... think i will just go 30mm - 50mm and keep it driveable
