Thanks, it's always run a little warmish, I have put in a new radiator, water pump, thermostat and am running tectalloy red coolant.
It still sits around halfway on the gauge, and here in Mildura the temp is around 40 deg most days in Summer...

yeah mine sits about the same as your daytime pic, it has me worried because the fans stay on when it has warmed up, i have also put in a new water pump, radiator, thermostat and coolant temp sensor and run the holden coolant! if you find a cure PLEASE PM ME!!! :)

Have you checked the actual temp the engine is running at, maybe it's only at 88c and it's just where your gauge sits for it. Just check it on the dash display.

In case you don't know about it.
Key OFF
Hold Mode + UP
Key ON to start car
Let go of Mode + UP
Then use mode button to get to the temp display screen

edit: Here's is a full write up

hey QldKev thanks for the tip, will look into it, what temp should it be sitting at? and what temp should the fans kick in? cheers!:beer chug:

If your running the standard thermostat and settings.
Running around from 88c to 95c
If your giving it a hard time up to 100c

3/4 gauge is where things start looking grim at around 115c
Alarm setting is 120c

Low speed fans come on at 98c and turn back off at 92c
High speed fans (hopefully not used often) come on at 110c

Some people like to put a cooler thermostat in. If you ever do you should always get your tuner to set the fan points to suit.

edit: I'm also assuming we are talking about the VX LS1 from your profile
