problems with new deck

Seen some home jobs.. cut the plug.. solder direct to the new lead.. plug in deck and go..

i do read but the stereo still wont power up, i have connected all wires correctly according to the wiring colours guide in the "stickied" thread, still it ownt work, so either something is missing or something is wrong

Haha... You get a new one within 2 weeks of purchases, not after having it in a couple of cars

Take it out and test with a 12v supply. 12v to red and yellow wire on Pioneer loom and earth the black wire and see if it turns on.

might seem obvious, but check your fuses if you havent already. In this case, a multimeter (or voltmeter) is your friend

thanx for the feedback guys, i have tried basicly everything, cant seem to find an obvious problem, nuhing wrong with deck...might have to look into it further, but you guys have been a good help, cheeerz
