The

VN-VS WIPER COVER PANELS

what does the sides get to covers so water is left out?
Hope that sounds ok?
The bonnet covers the sides when it's closed, if you look at the OEM one too it's only got mesh on either side it's not totally sealed.

the sides are where the bonnet hinges go down into as it closes.

Update time.

I wasn't a huge fan of the gold wheels after painting them in December, I tried them for a bit but they never quite sat right with me. They seemed a little bit too.....homagod uleh like you'd see on a yellow VL in western sydney on a saturday night.

Did a spray out with the same Iron grey that I did the engine parts in and it looked amazing so I ran with it.

I'm really digging it, the metallic flake in it really glimmers under the right light.

Just quietly I wasn't a massive fan of the gold either. I'm a silver wheel man since forever. I'm glad you never went black like some do. IMHO that's the worst colour for a wheel.

Yeah I think if I went back to any other colour it would be the same white as the car like I had originally.

tbh I was going to go back to white while I still had the paint mixed until I tried this spray out, now I'll run it for a bit and see how I like it in 6 months.

Good thing with these wheels is it only takes 30 mins to split them apart and take the centres out for paint.

And yeah, never going black, I really don't like black wheels on old cars.

Got lowe fab item on vp ute...doesn't suit it at all as it's more of a 90's stock/sleeper look & anything aftermarket looks wrong on it...going to get reproduction item now that they are available.

Do like new colour of rims much better!!!
