One week down (Don't look at this while eating).

Apparently I'm healing quicker than expected, the silver banadages really do help speed the process up.

That's actually looking really good (considering the circumstances and timeframe).
Rest up buddy (and check your private messages more often)

Engine bays coming together.

Finished the ABS cover on the weekend. It's held down with magnets underneath so it stays in place yet is easily removable.

Not as good as welded, but we work with our restrictions.

Found a radiator hose that fit to replace the exploded one, after a few trial and error turns out a 253 LH Torana upper hose was perfect.

Started making the new catch can lines, just waiting on a few more fittings to arrive.

Hoping to get the bonnet/wiper cowl painted this week before the cold weather starts to set in.

The cars booked in for Roll Racing on the 17th of June (my Birthday) so my present to myself is to have the car ready, which realistically means it needs to be ready mid may to give myself time to put some km's on it and make sure everything is good before I put in on a track. So that gives me a goal to work towards.

**** that looks so much better with the ABS unit gone.

From where I'm sitting that cover looks fine and dandy to me.

Bandaging is now off, just have to keep it out of the sun/heat for a few weeks but I've got full mobility back now.

I'm glad not to see the hospital...for a while. (I told them to keep my suite ready)

This sounds like you need to go to Modbury, to the mental ward.....Wanting to keep a suite available at the Lynell Mac.... :p

Glad the burn has healed and you have good movement back

Haha I was in the RAH, they are the only one with a proper burns unit.

Actually the first burns unit in the world to use the synthetic skin grafts that I had with the 3rd degree burns (it was that new at the time I had to sign a release form). The doctors from the RAH burns unit actually train the burns units in other countries they are that well respected.

Just a fun fact for your Tuesday reading
