bit of both

the place i got the engine/transplant from and a few other places i was looking at getting engines/transplants from said they cant remove the gas system, only a legal supplyer of gas systems can do it.

rang some auto gas fitters the other day and they said it will cost $200 to have it removed:eek:
From memory the main charge in that is to have the tank emptied. We removed it from my cousins torana, just ran the gas tank dry and pulled it all. Ask them how much to empty/degas the tank.

yah thats what i was thinking, just runn it empty and then take it out.
its only ilegal to discarge the gas into the atmesphire as it makes a bigger hole above australia in the ozone
