updates!!!!

i want a 31 so bad, i just dont know if my bass amp will fit in the boot or in where the back seat should be. if you're really bored one day, could you check it out for me?

theres a $1000 r31 for sale near my place, so keen to go for it. the only thing thats holding me back is if my gear fits in it or not.

Some updates! Apologies for the neglected thread.
Basically, I put some work into it (and some cash - about $3000) and got it road worthy, registered and had some fun. I was going to sell it, but i'm thinking of keeping it. I have a very solid base to start with now. I have done new:
-Wheel bearings all round
-Uni joints
-New wheels (with spacers to make up for poor offsets) They are Sparco JDM items
16x7 +21 front (soon to be +16) 215/55 Falken 452
16x8 + 18 rear 225/50 Sumitomo
-New seats - Monza import 'Autotechnicia' ADR Approved.
-New steering wheel - 'Drift' perforated leather (matches seats)
-New boss kit with the wheel
-Genie extractors, 3-2-1 design
-2.5" 200cpsi hurricane cat
-2.5" cat back, mild steel, mandrel bends, hurricane hotdog & muffler
-Tokico rear struts from a DR30
-Munroe GT Gas struts front with Lovells HD springs - 3.6kg/mm spring rate
A very nice service.

And that was a lot of fun, but now Its either sell it or spend more, so i'm going to spend more haha. - plans are

I have almost everything for an S13 front suspension conversion, this will give me 40mm more track and allow me to fit the bigger S13 turbo brakes, also allow me to put coilovers in the future If i feel like it

Planning a spool, sick of having one wheel furiously spinning through any tight corner

and a mild turbo setup which will consist of:
"Custom" DIY manifold
R33 ceramic ball bearing turbo
R33 stock side mount intercooler
Vl turbo 270cc injectors
Vl turbo ECU

And no doubt, a lot of fun. Here is a whole lot of pictures to illustrate the progress

I've been fixing up the rear of the car a little bit, looked pretty crappy before .. Doesn't look great now, but better I think.

The old spoiler was awful, installed very badly, wired badly - bad all round. So I removed that. Then I had to fix the holes underneath - 5 of them which looked like they had been punched with nails and a hammer. The badges were dodge-ily removed, so I rubbed it back while I was doing the other repairs to the boot. I filled the holes with fibreglass then bodyfiller to get a smooth finish, then filler/primer over the top.

I then installed my Silo lip properly. And removed the towbar too (whole assembly weighs 18kg!)

Here are some pictures, what does everyone think? Look better?
