Hey everyone. I'm new here. first couple of post tonight.

picked up a Ute a few weeks ago. ver tidy.

has 157,000 kms on it. very happy over all.

old ride left, new ride right haha.

short term plans:
piano black dash trims.
genuine vz pod gauges. (should be a fun one)
18" rims. thinking vf rims.(below)

Nice. New rims would look good as the ones on it are a bit done to death I think.
Wish I had of seen those JHP rims before I got mine.

i don't mind the current rims, just have never been a fan of 20s on a pre ve commodore. not enough rubber for my liking.

anyone know if you can get a double din stereo surround that is the same texture and colour as the original dash?

Yep, went back to 18's on mine. Ride improved 100%

You can buy the double din surrounds in black or grey, Aerpro make them, ABOUT $20 from Autobarn etc. got one for my VYS in grey when i put the new stereo in.

i already have a black surround, but the texture and colour is not great match

Upgraded to VZ gauges and Piano Black surround today. very happy with it. will have the cluster surround in a few days.
