Rear Main Seal/Plate From Underneath

Hi Champions

Has anyone completed a rear main seal/plate - fix, on an ecotec,with the car on jack stands?Contemplating which way to attempt this.Have 2 to do and theyre both auto V6.

Any advice appreciated.

It can be done if you can get the transmission out.

Try to get it jacked up high enough that you can sit up a bit in the trans tunnel. It’s a PITA on your back.
