Hey guys,
Anyone here ever removed the mouldings on the statesman / caprice doors?
Need some tips for removing them, I believe the lower ones are definitely glued on with a type of silicone, how about the ones that run through the middle of the door though, and have the small section on the front guards near the indicator?
Are the middle ones also glued on with silicone or are they bolted into the door at certain points?
Looking to remove both but if the middle ones are bolted in I will leave them alone.
Need some tips for removing them, would fishing wire attached to a Y piece (like a slingshot) be best to cut through the silicone? or is there an easier way? Would adding a little methylated spirits or another type of solvent behind as you go work?
Any advice is appreciated.
