@vc commodore any advice is good advice for me. I have put too much coin into this old ute, so I need to ensure everything is done just right, no short cuts,

Doing right is patience.....Having everything on hand involves the triple check method....IMA, it's not fool proof, but it's a good start :)

Oh forgot to mention....Have a straight edge (metal ruler is my tool of choice) to use on the block and heads....It's a safe guard that the block deck and head face is flat to begin with.

Clean everything,tap threads etc check deck heights with straight edge..other than that find out if need thread sealer in case oil or water ways in block?

arp head bolts or studs so it's ready for tonyz turbo kit :cool:
