Tried to clear my message on my VZ, and disconnected Battery for one hour, and it didn't make any difference? So I am going to replace the sensor on mine, and see if that works, apparently a new sensor is recomended retail of $75-00 at GMH Rural Price? Also wil probably have to purchase a special spanner by the looks of it?

Good to hear you fixed the problem, But I would have been Very Worried if I had pulled the sensor out, and there was No Oil on it?After all it does Plug into the Oil Filter housing? LOL!

I know this thread has been dead for a couple months, but it appears my replaced sensor has failed also, so soon.

It has put oil all through the connector again and throws up on my dash like crazy again.

Anyone know the expected 'life' span of a oil pressure sensor/switch? 3 months seems a bit too short if you ask me.

Parts warranty if you bought from a dealer.

It was from a eBay seller, I messaged him and he's already sending out a replacement for me no questions.

Anyone recommend a way of cleaning the oil out of the connector as its full of oil now.

Contact cleaner, can buy it in aerosol cans and it wont hurt electrical components.
