Hi,

new to the forum, not sure if this is the right place to post this.
but i had a mishap with my VY, skidded a gutter, and the rear passenger wheel is sitting at a terrible angle (the bottom is facing inwards from the top). it bent a long rod about the thickness of my thumb (we straightened this with a 10 tonne press, but it didnt fix the problem)
been recommended by my local Holden to replace the whole subframe (k frame?) and both the control arms.
wondering if anybody has done this before and how involved the process is? or if somebody has relevant sections from a workshop manual relating to these parts?
cheers

Are you doing the job on the floor, or on a hoist? If hoist, have a few T-Bars handy to hold the K-Frame while you remove the other bolts. If doing it on the floor, have a couple of jacks handy.

As for tips, you'll need to remove the handbrake cable etc.
