Hi all,

Recently had to replace the radiator and when mounting the condenser back in I punctured it. Will I be right reusing the drier? Also what o-rings do I need to replace and how many, just the 2 for the drier?

It's been a few weeks now since I've punctured it, is it bad that I've left it long to replace?

Repair / replace the condenser, renew dryer (they aren't expensive), replace all the O rings (cheap insurance) on the hose ends for the condenser & dryer & re-gas ASAP. The longer you leave it the more contaminants are likely to enter the system. As part of the re-gas operation the air con specialist will vacuum the system, test for leaks, add oil & re-gas.

Yeh it's a big issue as all components react to oxygen internaly and basically it corrodes, other than the $100,000 fine if you fix/tamper with it I was advised. So l changed the lot with new gen parts, includes Holden fact parts warranty also fitting warranty at a auto elec air con guru as my compressor was cract at 200, 000kms.
