Entertainment unit (also called IQ head unit?) fixed.
Please note there can be many different issues. This is what can be fixed by simply rebooting the unit. (Note turning the car OFF does not reboot the unit completely)
Symptoms - If the car battery has low charge. The start up voltage dip can upset entertainment unit / usb ports etc.. The issues can be cumulative and persistent. For example some function or usb connect may stop and eventually the unit display may go blank, keys may stop functioning, may leave fan ON etc..
Solution - There is fuse box next to battery. Remove fuse 4 (entertainment unit fuse) for 30 sec and refit.
