Resseting ecu

Hi all i am going to put an otr on my vf v8 calais it will be with the maf sensor , is it worthwhile to start off resseting the ecu so the fuel trims can can relearn ? I know i will have to get a retune but not straight away . What is the best way to reset the ecu ? Cheers

just drive as is and it will adjust at the same rate whether it was reset or not
