So, been a while since I posted.
Car spent a majority of February / March at the mechanics due to:
- broken plug for DFI coming loose from harness & causing the car to turn on & immediately die.... also my 12 month old MAF sensor was also knackered (thanks eBay)
- flexplate/converter bolts had worked their way almost completely loose (finger tight) with one disappearing altogether which resulted in a knocking noise which was good fun. Glad I caught it early!
- Fenix radiator shat the bed, was in the car less than 2 years and no more than 15,000k’s. Their warranty process is a joke so we gave up and bought a standard Adrad replacement.
Scored a set of VE SSV Redline wheels dirt cheap from a good mate of mine, next step will be to get them machined down to fit & I want to fully detail/ceramic coat the face & barrels to reduce regular wash times & keep them shiny etc.
Other than that I’m looking to get done PDR dove & get my spare steering wheel retrimmed.
