running rough when warmed up

You’ve ruled out your maf.I would definitely rule out the tps if everything else is ok.Your plug leads and your coils you can measure for resistance against spec.

The other possibility is a vacuum leak.Check the hoses at back of engine and there’s one near the throttle body also.

only starts running bad when it warms up runs fine cold, brand new plugs, leads and known good coils off another one of my commodores, will put the throttle body from that same car with the tps on it and all that and see if that makes it run algood, tested for codes, just came back with 12 which iv heard means algood? i need to find someone with a good scanner so i can get live data on what my cars doing when the problem starts happening

Did you change the dfi too?

Keep ruling out and you will eventually narrow it down.If they are old coils definitely check them for primary and secondary resistance,theres a video on youtube and probably one on here somewhere.Only running rough when warm could be coil,plug leads tps and also your cas,you can spray cold water on your cas when its happenin,if it settles thats your culprit.I would test the spark leads for resistance irregardless of age,as it and coils are prime suspects.

Another possibility is your 02 sensor wire has escaped its bracket and is resting against the engine,fits the symptons.

If you have another ecotec you can rule out your dfi module too with swapping in the good one.

I doubt if live data will narrow it down too much,a code would though.

is the dfi that thing the coil packs sit on? if so i replaced that at the same time cause iv heard that can be an issue, ill check the o2 sensor tomorrow morning, ill try that water thing with the cas tomorrow too cheers bro i know if i keep trying stuff itll eventually find the issue but far out i feel like im getting unlucky on the parts im replacing haha but ah well itll be worth it, iv tried to different sets of coils but ill still get that test done on the coils to make sure. i tried to see if it would show a code but only comes up with 12 when i bridge those 2 pins, think i need a proper scanner if i cant find the issue surely i can tho

Best to limit throwing parts at it,unless you have them already and use known good ones as a test.Invest in a multimeter if you dont have one,can pick one up for $20 that will do the job.

Had someone tell me to look into getting some thermal paste to go between the dfi, could that be causing the issue of it running rough when it warms up? Have some on the way but just thought I'd ask

Pretty much everything I can think of really, all things spark, all things fuel, done sensors not all but done maf and tps, spent around the 2k mark giving this thing a birthday and it just keeps doing the same thing
