The bodykit is up for sale, $1000 ono with all offers considered. I've decided on a change of face.

My VR BT1 is for sale as well.

For those in Perth, this Saturday night (May 31st) there is a cruise from Midland to Fremantle. We're looking set to have quite a lot of cars show up and it should be a great night. Some quality Commodores will be on show, but by no means is it a Commodore- or even Holden-specific event. Performance and modified street cars are the name of the game, if you have one then feel free to come and see what we're about, even bring your mates and their cars for the night. It promises to be a great turnout, with numbers fast climbing as the date approaches. Memcal is in the mail to greenfoam, hopefully in 3 weeks when I'm back in Australia again it'll be a bit better on fuel :)

Also have another VP Calais parcel shelf in the shed, instead of chopping holes in this one for the 6x9s I'll be using the factory VP rear speaker locations for some Alpine 6" coaxials and leaving the factory speaker grilles in the shelf. I think it'll look a lot better that way.

New parcel shelf is in! 6" Alpine coaxials now sit neatly under the factory grilles. Did a bit of rust treatment while I was there too. Parcel shelf is up to scratch finally!

Also here's a pic of the roof before the rust treatment, it was a nasty surprise when I dropped the lining a few months ago and got a lot worse over the last 3 weeks of just sitting in the rain all damp from the boot leak... I'll give that the proper treatment tomorrow and post up a pic or 2 of the finished product. That silver part at the top of the pic is where I've already treated.

Wow that's a fail holden :) unpainted roof. Are they all like that?. In a positive light, your car is lighter now :)

haha yeah true that, hang on a tic I'll fix my links up so it's not the same picture 5 times... don't know how that happened... lol

that top bit in the roof pic that looks silver is the bit I tested the rust converter on. It works brilliantly. I'll paint the whole roof in it tomorrow, let it do its thing and then spray some white over the top. Blanket time!! lol I'll lay down a couple to stop fallout on the interior and windows I think...

Yes the car's lighter, but only until I can put it all together again :) I like a complete interior, or a stripped out race one done properly, nothing in between.

haha yeah true
no idea about body deadener but doesn't bother me :) It could have been removed before, we had rust done there once a few years ago... can't imagine that though, there'd be traces of it surely.

There is no deader on VNs back parcel shelf and there is no foam underlay crap under the back seat either, but the 2-3mm think deadner that comes out with a chissel lol, no deadner in the boot either.
