Seat swap VG

Hi, looking at swapping out my vg bench seat to 2 seats and a centre console.

Any idea what other commodore model seats would fit in without having to change brackets? Aside from vn.
Ideally after some decent leather seats, from memory there were a few 90s models that came with leather interior?

VN-VS

I put VT seats in my VP but was not straight forward.

You could easily put aftermarket in by using an approved adaptor plate. That would be the very best option.

VS Caprice had leather seats but you might reconsider when you see what they sell for. VR-VS cloth Stato seats are great and are relatively inexpensive in comparison.

Look for a centre console and the stereo surround sections from VN-VS.

The wiring harness plugs should all be there for both configurations inside the cab.

Get some good after market ones. Way better. Way cleaner. Way comfier.

There's a Burgundy plastic stereo surround and centre console off a vn I had my eye on but I'll have to paint them or something to match the rest of the interior plastics.

These seats are pretty gross alright

Use the VHT vinyl dye paint. That will get everything up really nice.

May be able to get my hands on 2 vns that've sitting on an acquaintances lawn for a few years. Fingers crossed they shouldn't have any missing parts, just deregistered.
