- 08 ve omega series 1
Going on guys new here so my bad if i do smt wrong. I have been trying to swap my leaking power steering pump on my 08 series 1 VE omega and have been looking in the ve forum and here for help but nobody has brought up me problem.
Ive pulled the leaking pump out and have the new pump to chuck in but when i pulled the pump out of the bracket n chucked it on the work bench i noticed ( not sure of the name ) this collet like shim on one of the mounting holes same thing you find on alternators sometimes what tightens on the pump as you do up the bolts ive tried evrything i can think of to move it out of the way so i can put the pump in its bracket hammers, mallets, screwdrivers, pry bars, tiny hammers and i just cant get it to move if anyone knows how or even tips or have ideas that be great.
Sorry for the massive post this sh!ts been doing my head in cheers guys
