Do it all myself. Servicing cars is easy, compared to heavy plant and trucks anyway so i don't mind one bit.

Every single thing I do to my car is at home, or my mates place.
Only times my car goes near a mechanic is a wheel allignment, or a roadworthy.

i do all my own work so i know its done right by my standards like when i did my rear main after the shop told me they did it and didnt do it at all so whe i did it the motor came out the box came out and i spent 3 days and 6L of degreaser creaning the engien bay trassmission tunnel motor and box and fix every oil leak it had for half the price the shop charged me to "do the job " in the first place but its going back to another shop so they can find a noise on one (mates ect) can put there finger on but ill fix that myself to

I gotta be honest i have never ever serviced a car or take in one to a mechanic to be serviced

I'll sometimes service my car.
Or i'll get my mate that works as a mechanic to work on it or my other mate that works at Holden to work on it.
