No one I could find to tune my old V6. Very few tuners at all in Tas that can even tune an LS. I needed a tweak in my Mace tune and there was no one.

100% will just have to go to Melbourne, I suppose I'll put a post up once I'm booked asking around for any decent tuners, thanks all for replying and getting me on the right track

The only bloke who "might" tune it is the old tuner from Boost. His shop is called Pro Boost. He is in Invermay, just before the cross over to the wharf. He may still have software. I stumbled across him when I was looking for an LS tuner and found no one is Tas who could do the tune and get it right. He was the only one who no one had given a bad report. My V6 was long gone by the time I found out he was around.

You will need to book in well in advance for a good tuner and dyno time

It will take some planning to align up all the required planets and stars

It will be worth it in the end to know the job has been done properly though

For this, I would look at up to a 6 month timeline, at least

MACE tunes aren't worth the circuits they are written on these days.

Get a proper tune, you'll thank yourself once it's done.

Torque increase should be noticeable. Similar upgrades on my VR V6 made a decent improvement. Are you running 2.5" exhaust or twin being VY? That might be the issue? You could have some restriction.

Mine is also obvious, and it really should be checked.
