Actually I bought it like that (except for new overflow tank) and I picked the red crap out with a screwdriver cause it looked rude.

me too, but then i got an old printer ink syringe, and filled the hollows with red heatproof, then rough sanded back the whole thing, looked cool and brushed steel for a week or 2, till it got filthy

I re-painted the 3800 on the manifold the same white as my car. Much nicer than the cherry red which is despise. See pics earlier in this thread.

Yes, the CAI does make a small improvement, well it did in my case anyway.

A few quick questions...
1. Mat (aka HoZy) - where did you get that 3.8 Engine cover from, i cant find them anywhere not even on ebay. How much?? and how to install??

2. What recommendations do you have for me because i want to paint some of my engine parts and clean up (cover) some wiring. What type of paint and do you just mask off in the engine bay or actually take the part out???

thats one mint s1 engine bay, the most stock i've seen yet, you must spend plenty of time polishing in there
