show us your painted console/dash

Im considering painting my console but i dont want it to look tacky like some do, i was wondering if some people could post pics of thier interior painting that they have done.

im thinking of doing a black down the centre of the console with silver around the edge to match my satin chrome handbrake and shifter, and silver cluster surround, im not a fan of bright blues/reds cause they dont realy match the interior.

PS i did a search and couldnt find any threads like this, so dont shoot me!!!

im in the same boat as you. however, im thinking of painting around the edge martini mica to match the exterior and keeping the centre the colour it is. not sure yet

i had considered doing it the martini colour to match the car, its a nice colour... i think my car is martini lol.

silver seems ot have a very slick professional look to it though, and it would match well with my interior i think.

Check out my ride thread below, i painted mine green and black centre (green to match exterior). Hope this helps, just make sure you do it right the first time, or you will hate sandpaper for the rest of your life...
