check that the throttle body is standard size 75mm or upgraded because if you are fiddling with a screw on the T/B to reduce and increase idle that would mean its getting too much air once you put the screw in its original position before turning.

I meant not enough air as opposed to to much air sry

I bought a new car about year ago so I haven't driven the Caprice much at all. Driving it yesterday it didn't seem too bad at all except a little rough with the A/C on. The only thing that has changed is that I had the transmission reconditioned about the same time as I bought the new car.
I will be selling it soon so I am not too concerned about it any more.

I took my 2014 evoke back to the dealership and they replicated the issues (or so they say) but since to sensors or fault codes, nothing could be done.
I am taking it back for them to look at it again later this month - they recommended I run premium fuel through it but with SIDI the fuel cannot clean any carbon deposits in the upper intake.

That would be because at the time that I started this thread in 2014 I didn't have it tuned yet.
It wasn't until someone revived the thread a few weeks ago that I mentioned the tune.

And at that time were they aware of the issue also and had no ideas?

I did mention it and they raised the idle a bit but it didn't help.
