Just realised I have never posted my Ride. so heres my baby I have had the car since 1996 and is just about through a full ground up rebuild and should be finished sometime in Feburary 2006.
It now has
VS EFI 5L rebuilt among other things with complete balence, 40 thou bore ACL race series pistons & bearings, a bit of flow work on the heads & intake manifold.
T5 5 speed
Rebuilt 28 spline VL turbo 3.45 LSD
1" master Cylinder
VT Twin spot calipers front calipers
VZ Monaro rear ventilated rear discs
90L Fuel tank with VQ internal feeder fuel pump
VL turbo high pressure fuel pump
King springs, Whiteline Test pilot adjustable suspension, nolathane bushes throughout Including
Front Adjustable Camber, Caster, swaybars, strut brace, shocks will be picked once the car is driven and we work out what is needed
Rear oncar Adjustable panard rod, adjustable swaybar, rear chassis
bracing & suspension mount bracing.
Exhaust 1 3/4" primary pipe pacemaker headers into 2 1/4" twin pipes, through high flow cats into a single 3" system mandrel bent.
Body Kit includes Group III Front spoiler, rear bar skirt, custom fitted/modified side skirts, modified Group A rear wing, I have 2 hand made proto type grills built up for the car undecided which one I will keep in the car when its finished but both will be painted up.
Wheels : Simmons OM16s
Interior includes SS front seats, original berlina rear retrimed with cereulean blue velour & HDT herringbone with custom door trims. Momo VK Group C steering wheel & HSV leather gear knob. VK Calais crash pad
Stereo: havent quite decided what im going to replace my old one with probably keep my Kenwood 7x10s, and alpine amps, probably some alpine splits for the calais crashpad but definitely a new headunit but waiting to see whats happing new features such as Memory card readers, ipod support etc
I think thats about it and its been a long 13 months so far on the build but its going to be worth it
